The Fowler makes an elegant, memorable venue for special occasions, and has been the site of numerous events. The following spaces at the Fowler can be made available individually or in combination.
Our largest outdoor space, the terrace comfortably accommodates 200-250 for a standard reception, 150 for a banquet-style event. The terrace is also suitable for small get-togethers thanks to picturesque arches that subdivide the area into smaller sections. It features a spectacular view of the Janss Steps and Wilson Plaza. The terrace is an entirely private space and is available for viewing by appointment only.
Surrounded on all sides by exhibition galleries, the open-air courtyard is at the very heart of the Fowler Museum. With lush landscaping and a quaint fountain at the center, this is a beautiful setting for receptions and intimate dinners. Receptions for anywhere from 20 to 150 people work well in this versatile space, as do banquet-style events for as many as 64 people. The courtyard may be rented only when the galleries are closed.
Immediately adjacent to our galleries and courtyard, this room is well-suited to intimate meetings, workshops, luncheons, and dinners. With its 6’ tables in their standard square set-up, it accommodates 20 people, 30 in a U-shape configuration. Theatre-style configurations can also be arranged. Available after 5 PM weekdays and all day on weekends.
