Dir: Grissel Granados and John Thomson, 52 min.

We’re Still Here shares the untold stories of the first generation of children who were born with HIV in the 1980s and 90s. The film follows director Grissel Granados as she embarks on her journey to seek other people born with HIV who, as adults, are telling their stories in their own words and on their own terms. Following the screening, we will present a panel discussion with director Grissel Granados, Nestor Rogel who features in the film, and artivist Porchia Dees, one of seven HIV-positive Angelenos who share their stories each week in the exhibition Through Positive Eyes.
