Oriental Silk explores the worldview of Kenneth Wong, the owner of the first silk importing company in Los Angeles. In this intimate portrait, he shares how his parents, first-generation Chinese immigrants, realized the American dream through the store and how he came to be the owner and caretaker of the family legacy. Director Xiaowen Zhu and Kenneth Wong will participate in a Q+A following the screening.
