Fowler Out Loud: World Arts & Cultures/Dance: Spoken Word Poetry
Following a poetry reading inspired by the Fowler’s collection and exhibitions, students from Bobby Gordon’s World Arts & Cultures/Dance 2: Spoken Word Poetry class will be writing (or rather typing) poems for guests on the spot. Poets will have brief conversations with audience members and then type a poem to offer as a gift for them to take home.
#FowlerOutLoud is an evening concert series that invites UCLA students from various disciplines to perform at the museum. Faculty and student performers hail from World Arts & Cultures/Dance, Music, Ethnomusicology, Theater, English, Music and beyond.
No reservation required. Fowler Out Loud is free of charge.
