Fowler Out Loud: UCLA Balkan Ensemble
Dynamic duo Ivan & Tzvetanka Varimezovi lead an evening of Bulgarian traditional and contemporary music. The ensemble is a “wedding orchestra” of modern instruments and a womenʼs choir, which tours independently as Superdevoiche. The Varimezovi have been popularizing Balkan music throughout California and the United States through their active teaching and touring performances, touching many lives through their music and pedagogy.
