Multi-talented Samantha Shen, a recent graduate from the UCLA Ethnomusicology program, will be showcasing originals from her upcoming EP as well as from her first EP, Rose Colored Glasses, released in May 2018. As a singer-songwriter, she draws musical inspiration from a blend of pop and R&B. Shen is also an aspiring actress and model, as she strives to continue pushing the boundaries for Asian representation in Hollywood.


Fowler Out Loud is an evening concert series that invites UCLA students from all disciplines to perform at the Museum—in the Courtyard, in the galleries, or sometimes in the amphitheater—we like switch it up!

Support for Fowler Out Loud comes from the UCLA Office of Residential Life. Admission to the Fowler is free and the galleries are open 12–8pm on Wednesdays.
