Tour fascinating architecture of religious sites along the Vermont Avenue corridor with Rick Miller, Lecturer in the Geography Department at UCLA. Vermont Avenue traverses the El Salvador Community Corridor, Hispanic Filipino Town, Korea Town, Little Armenia, Little Bangladesh, and Thai Town, offering rich opportunities to discover the city’s layered religious and cultural histories.

This tour is part of a new Fowler initiative—generously funded by the Lilly Endowment—to explore Los Angeles as both a microcosm of religion in 21st-century America and a bellwether for understanding the impacts of religion on contemporary society.
