Story Time: Trombone Shorty
Join us for an interactive storytelling experience as we look, listen, and learn in our special exhibition Pableaux Johnson. Children of all ages are invited to discover how Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews got his nickname by wielding a trombone twice as long as he was high in the award-winning autobiography Trombone Shorty. Continue learning about the importance of brass bands in New Orleans on a family-friendly tour with a Fowler Educator.
Story Time is a short format, informal storytelling program facilitated by Fowler educators at 11:30 am on the first and third Friday of most months. This event is free, no reservation required. Meet in the Fowler’s Lobby.
