Story Time: Mango, Abuela, and Me

Mar 15 2019
11:30 am - 12:30 pm

Join us for an interactive storytelling experience as we look, listen, and learn in our exhibition Intersections: World Arts, Local Lives. Children of all ages are invited to discover how a little girl helps her far-away grandmother learn English with the help of an unexpected pet—a colorful parrot—in Mango, Abuela, and Me by acclaimed author Meg Medina (2017). After the reading, explore the Fowler’s own artworks featuring birds before the museum opens to the general public at noon.

Story Time is a short format, informal storytelling program facilitated by Fowler educators at 11:30 am on the first and third Friday of most months. This event is free, no reservation required. Meet in the Fowler’s Lobby.
