Join families of all skill levels as Leah Rose Gallegos, co-founder of People’s Yoga, leads participants in a session combining yoga poses, mindfulness, and breathing techniques inspired by the ancient Indian philosophy whose concepts of nonviolence and truth have inspired civil rights activists like Dr. Martin Luther King. Continue to feed your soul by exploring global artworks at the Fowler Museum or the exhibition Adrian Piper: Concepts and Intuitions, 1965-2016 at the Hammer Museum.

This program is co-presented by the Fowler Museum and the Hammer Museum. Meet at the Hammer Museum. Yoga mats will be provided, but feel free to bring your own!

Art is not only a reflection of culture but can actively shape thought and experience. The objects on display have all intervened in the lives of those who made or used them—whether to educate, solve problems, assert leadership, assist in remembering, or provision loved ones in the afterlife.

Parking at the Hammer is available under the museum at 10899 Wilshire Boulevard. $6 flat rate on weekends. Cash only.
