You’ve had a chance to explore the exhibition, Passport to Paradise,
read about and study the works to be included, and become a member of
the exhibit planning team as they make decisions about the inclusion and
placement of works on view. When you visit any exhibition, remember that
such decisions and discussions occur with all exhibition planning—and
members present and debate these choices all along the way. Later, when
you visit Passport to Paradise, think again about the discussions
you had and decisions you made, and consider those as you view the works
in person. Those careful and thoughtful choices made in the planning stages
can play a key role in the meanings visitors take way from their visit.
And finally, how does your understanding change when you see the works
in the gallery? What new insights and discoveries emerge from your experience?
Thank you for joining
us as a member of the planning team, and for your insightful suggestions.
