Fowler on the Town: Mural Remix Tour II
Take a tour of the Chicano murals of the 1970s, starting at the Fowler with curator Pilar Tompkins Rivas in Mapping Another L.A.: The Chicano Art Movement. Next, at LACMA, artist Sandra de la Loza introduces her exhibition Sandra de la Loza: Mural Remix. The day continues at Estrada Courts murals with Isabel Rojas-Williams, Executive Director of Mural Conservancy of Los Angeles (MCLA) and Ernesto de la Loza, an artist working to conserve the murals, and a brief driving tour of the murals at Ramona Gardens.
